Thanks for asking about AMSOIL two-cycle oil.
I started using AMSOIL two-cycle oil in the late 70’s in my motocross bike. I liked the idea of mixing the fuel 100/1 because my thought was “the less oil that I needed to dilute my gas with the more power I could produce” making me more competitive. Riding older motorcycles I was looking for any edge I could find. The added bonus that I didn’t realize until later, was that AMSOIL burns at such a high temperature, the gas burns off and leaves the oil there to lubricate. Once I realized these things, I started using it in my weed eater, chain saw and any other two-cycle engine I have owned since.

Dear Mr. Danielson,
Last week I was driving out in the hills east of Hemet California. I saw smoke up the road and when I came around the corner a pick up truck with a horse trailer was on fire. There were several people around throwing dirt on the fire which had spread to dry weeds. I gave them my fire extinguishers and between those and the dirt the fire was mostly put out. The driver had gotten out and only had a few burns on his hands. Fortunately his family had been in another vehicle.
I’m writing because I read your article on motor homes and keeping them from overheating dangers. I want my family to be safe! Thanks to you I’ll be using AMSOIL.
